Our women’s first team secured a hard-fought victory in the intense rivalry against @london_gd after a nail-biting 60 minutes!

The Eagles found themselves at a disadvantage in the first half, struggling to convert in attack. GD took a 2-goal lead at half time. However, we maintained a rock-solid defense throughout the game, creating opportunities for fast breaks off turnovers. The game tied at 24-24 with just five minutes left. The Eagles dug deep and finished strong with a 4-0 run to seal the win.

MVP goes to Alex, who was very active on the offensive end, penetrating the defense and setting up teammates as a playmaker. Unfortunately, Alex suffered an ankle injury during the game, and our hearts go out to her. Wish her a speedy recovery, and we can’t wait to see her back on the court!

With this important victory, the Eagles now sit at the top of the table—giving us a great chance to make it to the Final 4🦅

Well done to our women’s second team for securing another three points in the league! The game started off slow with Chelsea taking the lead for most of the first half. However, the team bounced back, delivered a well-rounded performance and got the win!

A special congratulations to Emily, Sheila, Marie and Aiste on making their debut, with a special shoutout to Aiste for being named the MVP of the game. Her exceptional court vision and attacking ability were key to the win. Keep it up, ladies!
